Sick/Fit Notes

Employees must give their employer a ‘fit note’ (sometimes called a ‘sick note’) if they’ve been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

Test Results

If your test results need actioning you will be contacted by us.

NHS e-Referral Tracking

If your doctor has referred you to a specialist for further care you will be asked to book your appointment using the ‘NHS e-Referral’ system.

To track your e-Referral you will need the following details to log into the e-Referral website:

  • Your date of birth
  • Reference number – this will be on the first page of your letter
  • Password – this will be on the second page of your letter

Be Healthy Bucks

Be Healthy Bucks is a free health and wellbeing service to help you make simple changes, to start feeling the benefits of a healthy life today, they provide support for: 

 

  • Stop smoking support
  • Weight management 
  • Reduce alcohol consumption
  • Community-based NHS Health Checks

One Recovery Bucks

One Recovery Bucks provide a free service to anyone effected by their own or someone else's use of alcohol or drugs. They can help with

  • Drug Support
  • Alcohol Support
  • If you are worried about someone else

Bereavement Advice

Guidance and support to people coping with the loss of a loved one.

Sexual Health- bSHaW

bSHaW provides sexual health advice and support in Buckinghamshire. This includes:

  • Sexual health advice and treatment
  • STI testing including digital testing
  • HIV treatment and care (including Pre Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP)
  • Condom Distribution Scheme
  • Contraception
  • 1:1 support programmes for young people and adults

  • Anxiety
  • Worry
  • Stress
  • Long term health conditions

Non NHS Services

Examinations for licenses for HGV and PSV drivers, adoption and insurance medicals etc. are not covered by the NHS.

Please ask at the surgery and we will be able to advise you of the professional fee for such services before you book an appointment.

Podiatry

Bucks Podiatry service is free to use and can help people who have a feet or lower limb problems like:

  • Painful corns and callus
  • Ingrowing toe nails
  • Foot ulcers
